On Jun. 17, 2011, Paraquat cooperative group held the first conference in Jinan. The subject is to set up “Paraquat Social Responsibility Care Leading Group” and talking about the following job on this issue. The main 20 manufacturers, including Red Sun, Lubachem, Syngenta(China), Sanoda attended it. The conference was hosted by Mr. Li , who is the head of Shandong Pesticides Researching and Developing Institute and Mr. Yang, the President of Red Sun Group. Mr. Zhao from Lubachem presented a welcoming speech. 

 

It is well-known that Paraquat is a kind of contact and sterilant herbicide, the second biggest herbicides in the world, while Glyphosate the first. Because of the excellent effect and lower price, it has done a lot on increasing the crop harvest, saving cost, improving the farmers income and protecting environment. We call it a favorable to the country, people and environmental-friendly product. 

 

Comparing with other herbicides, Paraquat has 2 outstanding advantages, one is the rapid effect only 30 seconds, the other one is inactivating with the soil. Especially the inactivation with soil, resulted in the best and the only choice to get fast recovering the planting. Meanwhile, it helps on water and soil conservation, which contributes on eco-environment. In this respect, Paraquat can not be replaced by other kind of herbicides. 

 

In addition, Paraquat is one of the choices for no-tillage filed, while the no-tillage technology is a promoted high-efficiency technology. However, Paraquat will possibly caused death once somebody drinks wrongly, and the pain lasts for a long time, nowadays, the cure rate is between 30%-70%.

 

With the leadership of National pesticides Industry association, the main manufacturers set up the Paraquat  Social Responsibility Care Leading Group, organizing experts, taking proper measures, willing to resolve the defect of Paraquat. On the conference, the participants offers useful suggestions, money and so on, they have shown the belief of social responsibilities care.

 

 

After the conference, the Paraquat Social Responsibility Care Leading Group was set up, letter of commitment was signed, they also talked about many efficient precautions and treatment. All the participants say they will take action immediately, putting all the suggestions and measures into practice, reducing the harm by wrongly-drink. We believe the establishment will promote the constant and healthy development of Paraquat industry, the foundation will guarantee every measure take action efficiently.
